How does the fiber process work?
The Construction Steps and Timeline for Internet Service
Step 1: White Markings
The white markings help our construction crews determine the path your fiber will take and how much will be needed for your home. If this route does not work for you, please call us immediately at 833-727-5563.
Step 2: Fiber Line Bury
Three to six months (sometimes sooner) after fiber path confirmation, crews will arrive on-site to bury the fiber line to your home.
Step 3: Outside Equipment Placement
One week to two months after the fiber line is buried, a crew will place a box on the outside of your home for the fiber connection. You do not need to be home for this step, but you will need to provide clear access to the box mounting location.
Step 4: Home Installation
Approximately two weeks after the outside equipment is placed, TWN will notify you to schedule your inside installation.
