Fiber-to-the-home internet from TWN is now available in Fort Mohave, Airport, Silver Creek, and Big Bend areas. Over 23,000 members now have access to 100% fiber internet. Members are being added daily as crews continue to expand the fiber footprint throughout MEC’s service territory.
Over the past month, crews have ramped up building the fiber backbone and laying the groundwork for future fiber drops to individual properties in Topock/Golden Shores (Opalka). Crews are currently in the northern square of Golden Shores building the network foundation in that area.
That’s not all! Crews are taking the first steps building the fiber backbone for Mohave Valley (Swan). Once the Swan area is completed, crews will move to Bullhead City south of Ramar, Hancock and Marina (Medlin), and will start the network foundation for that area.
