Big news! Crews have wrapped up construction in Fort Mohave, making it the fourth area where 100% fiber internet is now available.
Nearly 23,000 MEC members in Fort Mohave, Airport, Silver Creek, and Big Bend have access to the TWN fiber network.
Crews also began construction in a new zone: Opalka (Golden Shores/Topock).
With construction underway, the first step is to build the fiber backbone and network foundation. This involves distributing, hanging, and burying aerial or underground fiber lines to establish a physical point-to-point internet connection that can transmit data at fast speeds.
Once this step is complete, fiber lines will be run to homes and businesses in the Opalka area.
As the fiber footprint continues to expand, more members are reaping the benefits of having a high-speed, reliable connection. Not only does TWN 100% Fiber Internet improve the overall quality of life, but it also helps boost the local economy and build the foundation for continual growth.
