For more than 20 years, TWN Communications has been guided by a single mission…work alongside electric cooperatives to bring the BEST broadband services possible to underserved areas.
That’s why TWN and MEC are partnered together to bring fiber internet, digital phone, and streaming TV services to MEC’s service territory. Not only is TWN’s fiber broadband fast and reliable, it’s also unlimited and secure.
Since December 2020, MEC and TWN have been busy constructing a 100% fiber-optic communication network, so co-op members like you can enjoy dependable, high-quality fiber internet regardless of your location.
Recently, exciting things have been happening in the Airport area where fiber internet is now available in select neighborhoods.
Airport joins Big Bend and Silver Creek as the third area offering fiber-to-the-home. Currently, over 8,000 MEC members now have access to TWN’s high-speed fiber internet*.
Soon, many more will have access to the fiber network as crews are gearing up to begin construction in the Camp Mohave area in Fort Mohave!
For those of you who are not in fiber-ready areas yet, building the fiber backbone is a process. Before you can be connected, several steps must be completed.
You can trust TWN’s experienced fiber technicians to do the job the right way. From construction to connection, we will visit multiple times to bury your fiber line, install necessary devices for service, and restore your property to its original state post-installation**.
When can you expect fiber in your neighborhood? Check out this progress map to monitor construction in your area.
